Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 21 July 2026
This page sets out how payment, cancellation, and the statutory right of withdrawal work for every package sold on this site. It applies together with our Terms of Service.
How payment works
Full-payment packages (Landing Page — Single, Brand Identity — Mark) are paid in full at checkout.
Project packages are booked with a 30% deposit at checkout, non-refundable once the project has kicked off. The remaining 70% is invoiced against milestones and due within 14 days of each invoice.
Subscriptions (Website Care Plan, Design Subscription) are billed monthly in advance; the first month is due at checkout.
Your right of withdrawal (consumers, 14 days)
If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from this distance contract under §312g and §355 of the German Civil Code (BGB), implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU. The withdrawal period begins when the contract is concluded (i.e., at checkout). You don't need to give a reason — a clear statement to us, by email or post, is enough.
If you tick the box at checkout requesting that we begin work immediately, during the withdrawal period: if you later withdraw, you owe a proportionate amount for the work already performed at the point you tell us (§357(8) BGB); and your right of withdrawal lapses entirely once the service has been fully performed, because you gave that express consent and acknowledged this in advance (§356(4) BGB). The same rule applies to digital content supplied outside a physical medium (§356(5) BGB).
If you leave that box unchecked, we simply wait until your 14-day withdrawal period has ended before starting any work.
Business customers (Unternehmer) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal; the cancellation terms below apply to you instead.
Cancelling a project engagement
Before kickoff: cancel for any reason and your deposit is refunded in full.
After kickoff, before delivery: your deposit is retained to cover discovery and the work already done; any amount already invoiced is due only for completed milestones and work in progress, and any overpayment is refunded.
If we cancel: you get a full refund of anything paid for undelivered work, within 14 days, and everything produced so far is handed over to you.
If a project stalls because we haven't heard from you for 30 days or more: we may invoice the work completed to date and pause the engagement. It can be resumed within 6 months at no restart fee.
Revisions, not post-delivery refunds
Every package names a fixed number of revision rounds — that's the mechanism for resolving a delivery you're not happy with. We don't offer refunds once a deliverable has been accepted or put into use, except where it's defective in a way the named revision rounds genuinely can't fix. Full IP rights in the finished, approved deliverables transfer to you once you've paid in full. Anything not yet paid for stays ours.
Subscriptions: cancelling, pausing, and our one guarantee
Cancel Website Care Plan or Design Subscription any time before your next renewal date; it stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for. No pro-rata refund for a period already underway — no minimum term, no notice period, no lock-in either way.
Design Subscription can be paused for up to 2 months in any 12-month period; billing stops for the paused time, and the rest of the month you'd already paid for is preserved.
Design Subscription trial guarantee: cancel within 7 days of your first payment and we'll refund that first month in full, less a €390 discovery fee, as long as you haven't accepted more than one deliverable yet. Offered once per customer.
Website Care Plan: cancel any time; we hand back the site and all credentials within 5 working days of your final period ending.
Refund mechanics and disputes
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days of approval, or within 14 days of receiving your bank details for a transfer. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§36 VSBG).
